Naby Keita will leave Liverpool at the end of the season, but not to join Galatasaray, according to a reputable journalist.
Jurgen Klopp’s side have been tipped to begin a massive midfield rebuild in the summer, with the current crop having struggled for form and fitness this term.
Meanwhile, fringe players like Keita and Alex Oxlaide-Chamberlain are likely to leave the Merseyside club in the summer upon the expiry of their contracts.

According to reports in Turkey Galatasaray are in talks with Keita, with the view to signing the 27-year-old upon the expiry of his contract.
According to an A Spor report published last week, Galatasaray have reached out to Keita’s team and expressed a desire to sign the Guinean. However, the Istanbul club are reportedly merely assessing whether Keita is interested in making the move.
Keita’s Liverpool future
According to Sky Sports Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg, Keita is likely to leave Liverpool in the summer.

However, Plettenberg claimed Galatasaray will not be his next destination, with a return to Germany the more likely option.
Plettenberg tweeted: “The 27-year-old is on the verge to leave #LFC as a free agent in summer!
“Contract extension unlikely at this stage. Many clubs are interested to sign him.
“But he won’t join Galatasaray. His return to [Germany] is not excluded. Regular starter in the last 4 matches.”

Indeed, 90min has claimed Keita could return to the club where he made his name, RB Leipzig.
The midfielder allegedly remains a hugely popular figure there and a return seems the “most likely” option at this point.
Keita has allegedly seen how Timo Werner’s return to Leipzig has reinvigorated his career.
