Former Arsenal striker Kevin Campbell believes Liverpool have got ‘no chance’ of signing Real Madrid midfielder Federico Valverde next summer.
Valverde has become an integral part of Carlo Ancelotti’s side, playing 46 times for Los Blancos last season and even assisted Vincius Junior’s winner in the Champions League final last term to defeat the Reds.
Jurgen Klopp must’ve been impressed by what he saw in the Uruguayan, as Spanish outlet AS reported that the Merseyside club made a staggering £86.5 million bid for Valverde late in the summer window.

“The guy scored an unbelievable goal at the weekend as well. He is a player who I think will go on to be world class. He has got a great engine, a hell of a shot on him and can pass the ball with both feet.

“Real Madrid are not a club who sell their best players.”
