Fabrizio Romano gave a major update on the future of Liverpool's Roberto Firmino.
On Saturday morning the Mail Online claimed that Firmino, who is out of contract at the end of the season, had agreed to join La Liga giants Barcelona.
However transfer guru Romano dismissed such suggestions, insisting that nothing was agreed between Firmino or Barcelona at this stage.

"It’s not even advanced deal — just name discussed internally. Barça priorities are Iñigo, Gündogan, of course Messi.

Firmino's future unclear
Despite Liverpool's best attempts to retain the Brazilian, Firmino will bring to a close his glittering eight-year stay at Anfield at the end of the season.

While the 31-year-old is no longer a regular starter in Jurgen Klopp’s team, he has been central to the club's Champions League, Premier League, FA Cup, League Cup and Club World Cup triumphs since his £29million move from Hoffenheim in 2015.
Indeed, Klopp made it clear last month that he would have liked to keep the forward, however the Brazilian is thought to be keen on a new challenge.
