Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola snapped after being asked questions about Liverpool’s uncertain ownership situation.
On Monday an Athletic report claimed that Liverpool owners Fenway Sports Group (FSG), had invited offers for the club and a sales presentation had been prepared for bidders.
FSG, who have owned the club since a £300million takeover in 2010, subsequently released a statement that read: “There have been a number of recent changes of ownership and rumours of changes in ownership at EPL clubs and inevitably we are asked regularly about Fenway Sports Group's ownership in Liverpool.

"FSG has frequently received expressions of interest from third parties seeking to become shareholders in Liverpool. FSG has said before that under the right terms and conditions we would consider new shareholders if it was in the best interests of Liverpool as a club.
"FSG remains fully committed to the success of Liverpool, both on and off the pitch."
There has since been growing speculation around whether FSG will sell the club imminently, and if so, who the buyer may be.
"I am not the CEO!"
Man City manager Guardiola snapped at reporters upon being asked about FSG’s willingness to sell Liverpool at his pre-match press conference.

The Citizens are due to play Chelsea in the Carabao Cup this evening, and Guardiola was dismissive of any questions related to FSG and rival clubs in general.
Guardiola said: “I'm not the right person to ask this question. I am not the right one to answer you. Don't ask me these kind of questions.
"I cannot answer you, I am not involved in that.

“I am not the CEO. I try to be as good a manager as possible, that's all. And of course, I'm not going to talk about the other clubs."
