Pep Guardiola gave an awkward response when asked about his Manchester City future.
On Sunday the Mail Online claimed that Guardiola is expected to call time on his spell as Manchester City boss next summer.
The Spaniard joined the club eight years ago and has since won 15 major trophies, including the Champions League and six of the last seven Premier League titles.

However, he has just 12 months on his current deal, with the club’s hierarchy allegedly fearing his ninth year at the club will be his last.
Though there has reportedly been no formal indication that the 52-year-old is set to depart, the Mail claims that many within the industry and club have openly discussed the prospect of his impending departure in recent months.
Amid reports of Guardiola’s potential exit, Sky Sports asked whether the former Barcelona boss was willing to stay at City “forever”.

Speaking on an open-top bus in celebration of City’s record fourth Premier League title in succession, Sky Sports asked Guardiola: "At the start of next season, you will be the Premier League's longest-serving manager. Would you just stay forever, please? Can we just get you to stay forever?"
Guardiola, who was caught off-guard by the question, awkwardly responded: “Forever?” before laughing nervously.
While Guardiola has confirmed he will remain at City next season, several of his start-names could depart this summer.

Goalkeeper Ederson is widely reported to be a target for Saudi Pro League side Al Ittihad, while Kevin de Bruyne has also been linked to Saudi Arabian clubs as well as teams in the MLS after an injury-plagued campaign.
Meanwhile, Bernardo Silva has a £50million release clause and has frequently been linked to a City departure.
The club’s move for West Ham United’s Lucas Paqueta may be scuppered by the player's FA charge, while City are also said to be interested in Newcastle United’s Bruno Guimaraes.
