Neymar has been linked with a move away from PSG this summer amid rumours of unrest in the Paris club’s dressing room, but Liverpool aren't the right destination for the Brazilian.
That’s according to former Reds midfielder Don Hutchinson. Speaking to ESPN, Hutchinson explained that Neymar “wouldn’t really fit into” Liverpool’s style of play.
There is some truth to this assessment, Neymar has long been lambasted for his off the ball work, and intense pressing is a crucial cog in Liverpool’s machinery.

That’s before even taking into account Neymar’s financial demands.
After handing Mo Salah a record-breaking contract worth up to £400,000 a week, there’s no way Liverpool would want to further break their wage structure and hand a similar package to Neymar.
Hutchinson is right. Neymar won’t be ending up at Anfield should he leave PSG this summer. But where could he go?
A Premier League move would appear likely for the 30-year-old.

He has been linked with the likes of Chelsea, Manchester City, and Newcastle United.
One suspects Cristiano Ronaldo’s future could even impact Neymar’s.

Manchester United themselves could be interested in pursuing a deal for the forward if they lose their no. 7 this summer.
After seemingly missing out on the signing of Neymar’s compatriot, Raphinha, Chelsea’s interest in the PSG man has likely increased too.
It’d be a pleasure to watch a player as talented as Neymar in the Premier League, but as Hutchinson points out, there are question marks over his work rate.
If he is to make the switch to England, that is an issue within his game he’ll need to nullify.
