Jurgen Klopp was far from happy when he was asked if he would leave Liverpool over the Jude Bellingham transfer saga.
Over the last few months, it was widely reported that Liverpool have made Bellingham their top target for the summer transfer window.
However, as the team’s overall performance continued to disappoint, it soon became clear that Liverpool would face a huge task in luring Bellingham to Anfield.
Earlier this week, the Bellingham dream for Liverpool fans was dashed after reports claimed that the club have pulled out of the race for the Borussia Dortmund star.

During his first press conference since the latest development, Klopp was asked whether he would quit the club over Bellingham. The German was not too pleased with the question as he gave a snappy answer.
He said: “This is my club. You want to suggest I quit here and wait for the next top job? Really? This is my club.

“I am not here to be angry about things that will work out or not. If I am angry, we don't all of a sudden have more money or the resources to do everything.
“So it's rubbish [to get angry], it's not ok - I'm too much of a professional. You work with it. Make the best of it. We are not children.”
Klopp continued: “If a five-year-old wants a Ferrari for Christmas. You wouldn't say, 'Oh, that is a good idea.' You would say that it is too expensive. Anyway, you cannot drive it.

“If this kid then spends his whole life unhappy because he cannot get a Ferrari, then that is a sad life.”
After Liverpool seemingly dropped out of the race, Manchester City and Real Madrid are believed to be the frontrunners for the 19-year-old’s signature.
