Chelsea are plotting a move for Brighton’s Moises Caicedo, and believe a January deal for the player is “achievable”, according to a fresh report.
The Blues are in a terrible run of form, with a 2-1 defeat against Fulham last night having seen Graham Potter’s side drop to tenth in the Premier League.
Indeed. the Chelsea boss is under pressure, with his side having won only twice in 10 matches in all competitions.

Potter will also be without new loan signing Joao Felix for the next three games after the Portugal star was shown a straight red card for a horrible lunge on Kenny Tete.
Chelsea have been extremely active in the January window having purchased Benoit Badiashile, David Datro Fofana, Andrey Santos and Felix in 13 days alone.
However, it looks like they may yet have more business to do in the winter market, as owner Todd Boehly attempts to change the Blues’ fortunes.
Chelsea in for Caicedo
According to the Guardian Chelsea are lining up a bid for Brighton’s Caicedo after encountering frustration in their attempts to bring in Benfica’s Enzo Fernandez.

Potter’s side have been in talks with Benfica over Fernandez, who was named the Young Player of the Tournament at the Qatar World Cup. However, having failed to agree on a fee for the Argentina international the club are exploring midfield alternatives.
In turn, Chelsea are said to be looking at two Brighton players - Alexis Mac Allister and Caicedo.
While a deal for World Cup winner Mac Allister will be difficult given Brighton recently handed the player a new deal, the publication claims a January deal for Caicedo would be “more achievable”.
Chelsea are reportedly weighing up a bid for the Ecuadorian, who is also a Liverpool target.

Indeed, while the 21-year-old is settled at Brighton, he is close to appointing new representatives, which signals that a future move may be on the cards.
Chelsea are in desperate need of midfield reinforcements, with N’Golo Kante out with a long-term hamstring injury and uncertainty over Jorginho’s future.
