Fabrizio Romano revealed that Ghana’s World Cup star Mohammed Kudus is dreaming of a move to a Premier League club like Liverpool.
The 22-year-old scored a brace against South Korea to set Ghana up for a decisive group-stage game against bitter foes Uruguay.
Ultimately the Black Stars narrowly missed out on qualification to the knockout stages, but the team’s performance as whole exceeded expectations given they were the lowest-ranked side in Qatar.

Kudus was the leader and talisman of the team and has been widely tipped to be a future star of African football.
At the domestic level, the midfielder has impressed too, having netted five times in 14 games in the Eredivisie for Ajax this term and claimed a further four goals in the Champions League.
One of those European goals came in a 2-1 defeat to Liverpool - a club that Kudus is said to be dreaming of joining.
Kudus “dreaming” of Liverpool
Earlier this month TeamTalk claimed that Liverpool were one of four English sides interested in signing Kudus, alongside Arsenal, Tottenham and Newcastle.

And Romano has now confirmed that Jurgen Klopp's side sent scouts to watch the forward.
The transfer guru stressed however that he was unsure whether the Reds would submit a bid for the Ghanian next summer, given their focus is currently on securing a deal for England star Jude Bellingham.
Romano told CaughtOffside: “Mohammed Kudus dreams of Premier League football since a long time. He’d love to play in the Premier League.

“He was close to Everton last summer, but then Ajax made the deal collapse after selling Antony to Manchester United.
“Liverpool have sent their scouts to follow Kudus already a few months ago. On investments, we will see in the summer because at the moment Jude Bellingham is their only summer target.”
Better than Neymar?
The emerging superstar is certainly not short of confidence.

Kudus had a spicy exchange with Neymar in a September friendly between Brazil and Ghana. Afterwards, the Ghanian told the Guardian: “He’s not better than me. He’s just a higher-profile player, that’s all.
“He was defending his country and I was defending mine. I wasn’t about to let him push me around.
“What makes him better, for now, is that he has achieved a lot. I’ll get there soon.”
