Journalist Ben Jacobs has a positive update for Liverpool fans regarding their interest in Wolves midfielder Matheus Nunes.
Liverpool managed to shrug off some criticism after beating Wolves 1-0 in their FA Cup replay match on Tuesday, thanks to a Harvey Elliott wonder goal.
However, the scars of their recent 3-0 defeat to Brighton are still evident. Reds fans will be praying for a more positive result against Chelsea on Saturday.

Graham Potter's side have also looked out of sorts this season, sitting one place behind Liverpool in tenth.
Much of Liverpool's inconsistency this season has been attributed to their midfield, with Jurgen Klopp relying on a core group of ageing players who have failed to reach the heights of last season.
The German has expressed his interest in signing Nunes. However, FIFA's rules preventing a player from representing three clubs in one season has made him unavailable this January, with Nunes only joining Wolves from Sporting Lisbon in August.
Liverpool "have started the process"
Journalist Ben Jacobs believes that Nunes could be a Liverpool player this summer if they can get the money together.

Speaking to Redmen TV, Jacobs said: "I think there is something to it and from sources it appears that Liverpool have started that process of trying to get this one done with a view to the summer.
"The only complication is that he’s new to Wolves and they have a brand new manager as well and that can change the dynamic.
"Liverpool have always liked Nunes and the player knowing that will see his Wolves form as a chance to step up. It’s not the first time Liverpool have looked at Nunes. They’ve seen enough now at Wolves to suggest that a transfer is in their interest. It’s now about the money side of things."
Guardiola: Nunes is 'one of the best in the world'
Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is also a huge admirer of the 24-year-old. In a Champions League knockout stage game last year, Nunes was playing for Sporting Lisbon.

And despite losing 5-0 to the reigning Premier League champions, Guardiola was full of praise for the Portugal international, calling him "one of the best players in the world".
"Sporting are a fantastic team, they are the champions of Portugal, which have a very strong league, with Porto and Benfica, they change the ball well, they have fast and intelligent players," said Guardiola.
"I would say that Matheus Nunes is one of the best players in the world today. Despite the difficulties and some mistakes, I have to be very satisfied because we took a big step towards the next round."
