Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp admitted the price he would for Chelsea’s Mason Mount in a throwback interview.
The Reds have endured an awful season. Last term's Champions League finalists are languishing in ninth in the Premier League, ten points from the top four and some 21 points adrift of Arsenal at the summit.
Indeed, Klopp will be aiming to rebuild in the summer window, with the club having been linked to the likes of 19-year-old England star Jude Bellingham and World Cup Young Player of the Tournament Enzo Fernandez.

The Guardian also claim that the Merseyside club are interested in signing Mount from Chelsea this summer.
The 24-year-old has 18 months on his Chelsea deal though the Blues are yet to meet his wage demands on a new contract.
Liverpool, are reportedly prepared to act on their interest in the England international if Mount’s contract situation continues to drag on.

The German suggested that the midfielder was worth at least £60million in 2019 after he made his England debut.
In the throwback interview, Klopp said: “Tammy Abraham is now a £60 million player. Mason Mount for sure if not more. [Callum] Hudson-Odoi was before that already.”
Despite Liverpool’s interest, Chelsea would be reluctant to lose Mount and reportedly remain optimistic they can convince the player to stay.
Mount has been at Chelsea since the age of six and has been one of the team’s most consistent performers since breaking into the squad four years ago.

However, the midfielder is allegedly on £75,000-a-week, which makes him one of the lowest earners at Chelsea.
The Blues have said to be open to making the player a sizeable offer, with talks due to resume between all parties.
Meanwhile, reports claim that Liverpool are monitoring the situation closely and have put plans in place for a summer move, while Juventus are also thought to be interested.
