The Liverpool manager also opened up about where Morton feels comfortable playing, saying that “he plays as a No.8 now, so we don’t force him to play as a controlling No.6 in a Premier League game”.
Morton played in the latter position when he made his first Liverpool start in their match against Spurs last season
Klopp went on to say that when “he’s training as an 8”, “it’s like “wow, how good is that?!”
With Morton having already made nine appearances for Liverpool’s first team, as well as impressing the nation when he made his international debut for England’s U20, Klopp will definitely be looking towards Morton for future selections, especially if he keeps performing this well in training

Klopp has a lot of faith in his team and is determined to prove that this squad is a force to be reckoned with as they hope to lift the Premier League trophy this upcoming season.
He commented that “there’s really a lot of excitement for this situation from our side”.
He believes in his young players and hopes to release their potential with his “very positive” expectations.
