Fabinho’s wife issued a blunt response to rumours the midfielder could leave Liverpool this summer.
The Brazilian has been one of the Reds’ many underperforming players this term, and in recent weeks has lost his place to Spanish teenager Stefan Bajcetic.
Indeed, earlier this month Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp admitted Fabinho was not “the happiest person on the planet”, and had to work his way back into the team.

Klopp explained: “He knows that he’s not flying and has to work his way back, that’s how it is.”
With speculation linking Liverpool to summer moves for a series of elite midfielders, there have been rumours that Fabinho could depart the Reds at the end of the season.
Fabinho’s wife’s blunt response to exit rumours
Fabinho’s wife Rebeca Tavares issued a blunt response to Twitter account the Anfield Edition sharing news Liverpool could sell the 29-year-old in the summer.
Citing the Mirror, The Anfield Edition claimed the Brazil international may leave at the end of the season.

In response, Tavares posted a meme of an exasperated man, with his hands in his hands, that featured the caption “oh dear lord”.
It’s not the first time Tavares had taken to Twitter during a humbling week for Liverpool.
On Tuesday, after the Reds were beaten 5-2 by holders Real Madrid in the Champions League, Tavares posted a defiant message on the social media platform.
Amid criticism from fans and former players, who were blasting Liverpool’s shambolic defensive performance at Anfield, Tavares remained optimistic for next month’s second leg.
