Liverpool transfer target Cody Gakpo has said it would be an "honour" to play for Jurgen Klopp's side.
The Reds have been strongly linked with Gakpo, who occupies the left flank for PSV and has been on fire this season with 30 goal contributions in 23 games this season.
After a reported failed move to Manchester United in the summer, Gakpo has decided to stay at the Dutch side for the remainder of this season before looking to join a European giant in 2023.

"I feel like I was already that way at the start of this season, but after this season I'm even more ready to take that next step."
The PSV captain was then asked who he would like to play for: "Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Manchester United, Manchester City and Liverpool.
"It would be an honour to play there, but I also have to see what kind of team would suit me best."

PSV chief Marcel Brands has had his say on whether he believes Liverpool would be a good destination for Gakpo.
Speaking about his forward's future, he told ESPN NL: “Liverpool is a club that is always very focused.
“Sometimes they get players for the next season in November.

“Would they be a good partner to send Gakpo in the summer? Yes, that’s right.”
The young forward has an excellent opportunity to put himself in the shop window later this month when he will represent the Netherlands at the World Cup in Qatar.
