Lille midfielder Renato Sanches appeared to give Marseille supporters a parting gift after being substituted in the final minutes of their Ligue 1 clash on Sunday.
It was a tight affair at the Stade Velodrome. Jocelyn Gourvennec's side took an early lead thanks to Sven Botman; the centre-back who has been strongly linked with a move to Newcastle in recent weeks.
The away side then went down to ten men after Benjamin Andre was sent for an early bath but Lille stuck in and, despite conceding through Cengiz Under, Les Dogues managed to secure a hard fought point.
After playing the game for over an hour with ten men, Lille were desperate to leave Marseille with a point.
Renato Sanches did his best to waste time by slowly walking over to the bench when he was replaced in stoppage time - a decision that didn't go down well with the home support.
Then, after being heckled by fans as he made his way to the bench, the Portuguese midfielder appeared to produce an obscene gesture to those sat behind the bench.
Back in December, former Bayern Munich midfielder Sanches, who enjoyed a big breakthrough at Euro 2016, reportedly suggested he is ready to leave Ligue 1 champions Lille in the January window.
He has been strongly linked with a move to Arsenal in recent weeks.
"Who is interested in me? Maybe Milan and Arsenal are interested, but I don't know," he told L'Equipe.
"I talked to my agent, I know which clubs are calling and which are not, but now I can't tell. But I know I'm ready. If it happens, I'll see what's best for me.
"Milan? It's a great club, a historic club. It's classy. I like it. I was supposed to go to Barcelona in the summer, then my injury blew everything up. Leave in January? I know I'm ready. If an offer comes in."
