Roberto De Zerbi has sensationally offered to resign as Marseille manager after just four months in the role.
De Zerbi made the decision to leave Brighton before the end of the 2023/24 season, with his relationship with the club's board cited as a significant factor.
The Italian subsequently joined Marseille, replacing Jean-Louis Gasset.

After having four managers, including caretakers, last season, Marseille might have hoped for a period of stability under De Zerbi.
They won four of their first five Ligue 1 matches under De Zerbi to sit as high as second, but have won only two of their last six since then.
Their most recent defeat was a 3-1 home loss to Auxerre on Friday evening, with the visitors scoring all three of their goals uninterrupted in the first half.

And while Marseille are still second in Ligue 1 - albeit six points behind PSG having played a game more - De Zerbi has threatened to quit his position and says he will leave with nothing 'if the problem is me'.
He said: "I take responsibility, not only for this defeat but also for the team's performances at home [Marseille have won one of their six matches at home this season].
"I am not managing to transfer the good performances away, or to make the team play with the right values, the right intensity at home. We have difficulties at home, that is clear and simple.
"I came here to play at the Velodrome, to give my all because I wanted to live this strong experience. I come from the street, I tell it like it is.

"If the problem is me, I'm ready to leave. I'm giving up my contract. I'm leaving without money. I don't care.
"It's not my problem, I don't want to talk nonsense. I'm here to tell the truth - that's all I know how to do."
