Paris Saint-Germain are unable to complete their first transfer of the summer for a peculiar reason, it has been claimed.
As per French publication L’Equipe, Gianluigi Donnarumma and Arnau Tenas have been informed by the PSG management that there is no hierarchy for the No.1 spot going into next season.
Italy international Donnarumma has been the undisputed starter between the sticks for the past two seasons.

However, when goalkeepers return for pre-season, they will allegedly be a meritocracy regarding who claims the No.1 shirt.
Moreover, Les Parisiens are said to be close to completing a €20million (£17million) move for Russian goalkeeper Matvei Safonov, who will reportedly sign a contract until 2029.
However, that transfer has hit a temporary snag, with RMC having alleged the Krasnodar shot-stopper has been banned from leaving Russia by local authorities due to unpaid financial support owed to his spouse.

Safonov has allegedly been undergoing legal proceedings with his ex-partner for three years with the pair fighting for custody over their daughter. Meanwhile, Safonov reportedly filed a police report against his ex-wife at the end of May, accusing her of stealing money.
On Thursday the Baza Telegram channel, via Match TV, claimed a decision was made that the 25-year-old goalkeeper owed his ex-partner a significant sum thought to be in the region of €600,000 (£510,405).
While speaking to local Russia television station Match TV, Safonov’s wife’s lawyer Maxim Shilov was asked about the situation.

He responded: “I can neither confirm nor deny the amount. But the debt is significant.”
When asked whether Safonov was blocked from leaving Russia, Shilov claimed: “Yes. The bailiff adopted a corresponding resolution and restricted Matvey Safonov from traveling outside the Russian Federation due to the fact that a large debt had arisen in paying alimony.”
SPORTbible has approached Matvei Safonov for comment.
