Lionel Messi is among a group of players to have convinced PSG to make a significant transfer decision, according to a new report.
Messi played for PSG between 2021 and 2023 after joining the club following his surprise departure from Barcelona.
According to French outlet L'Equipe, Messi earned around €40.5 million per year during his time at the French giants.

He formed a dream attacking trio alongside Kylian Mbappe and Neymar, and while PSG won two Ligue 1 titles during the Argentinian's time at the club, a maiden Champions League crown remained elusive.
He departed Les Parisiens on a free transfer last summer, with neither party willing to extend the initial two-year contract, and joined MLS side Inter Miami.
Neymar joined him in exiting Paris and France, joining Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal.

Mbappe, therefore, is the only one of the trio still standing at PSG - but he has told the club he will be leaving at the end of his contract in the summer.
According to i, PSG will have a significant sum of money to spend once Mbappe's astronomical wage is off their books.
It is claimed that Manchester United star Marcus Rashford and Napoli's Victor Osimhen are two of their key targets to replace Mbappe.
The report also adds, though, that PSG will look to implement a new strategy that differs from the club's 'galactico' era, where the likes of Messi, Sergio Ramos, Neymar and Mbappe were on the books.

They will instead target younger players in the transfer market, while their academy - shown by the likes of Warren Zaire-Emery breaking through into the first team - will be another key source of talent.
PSG will hope the change of policy is successful and can finally deliver them the maiden Champions League title that they have longed for.
