Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham was given a straight red card for apparent dissent towards referee Jose Luis Munuera Montero during Saturday's clash against Osasuna.
In the 38th minute, a frustrated Bellingham could be seen talking to Montero near the centre circle as he protested a previous incident.
At the time of writing, it is unclear what the England international said but as the midfielder turned away, the referee proceeded to stop the game before producing a straight red card, bringing protests from many.

As you can see in the footage below, the 21-year-old looked perplexed as his Los Blancos teammates surrounded Montero to express their anger at the decision.
"Jude Bellingham shown a straight red for something he said to the referee, in the Osasuna v Real Madrid fixture," said journalist Jonas Adnan Giæver on X, formerly Twitter.
"Considering Real Madrid currently are at odds with the referees and the Spanish Football Federation, this just adds fuel to a fire."
Bellingham has now been sent off on two occasions in a Real Madrid shirt. He was also given his marching orders in the aftermath of their heated 2-2 draw against Valencia in March 2024.

Earlier this month, the former Birmingham City and Borussia Dortmund midfielder risked punishment after he unleashed a foul-mouthed tirade during Real Madrid's clash with Atletico Madrid.
The incident came after the ball went out for a throw-in, but Bellingham lost his cool after the linesman signalled for Atletico instead of Real. As reported by the Daily Mail, he was heard shouting: "F*** you, man! F*** off!".
In other news, Real Madrid issued a formal complaint to the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) in the wake of this month's controversial La Liga defeat to Espanyol.
Carlo Ancelotti slammed the officials after the defeat, saying: "The decision the referee and the VAR took is inexplicable. Everyone saw it.

"The most important thing is to protect the player. It's a clear foul, a very ugly challenge. Fortunately nothing happened in terms of an injury, but the VAR is there for that. It's inexplicable to us that he didn't show a red card."
Madrid president Florentino Perez has previously called for the Spanish FA to bring in referees from the Premier League to improve the standard of officiating in La Liga.
