Jude Bellingham has been hailed for how he responded to Luka Modric's surprise penalty miss for Real Madrid in the Champions League quarter-final second leg shoot-out against Manchester City.
After a 1-1 draw in second leg that meant the tie went all the way to penalties, Modric was the first player to miss in the shoot-out.
Ederson guessed right to deny the Croatian and give City the advantage.

However, City missed their two spot-kicks after Bernardo Silva and Mateo Kovacic both saw their tame efforts saved by Andriy Lunin.
Real were faultless from then on, with Antonio Rudiger scoring the decisive penalty to set up a semi-final with Bayern Munich.
And Real fans praised star Bellingham for his actions after Modric was thwarted. The England international didn't produce his most vintage performance at the Etihad Stadium but was ice cool from the spot when he was called upon.

But before that, Bellingham's leadership skills were spotted by fan account @MadridUniversal.
According to the page, when Modric missed and Real players were deflated, he took a step forward to "encourage the side and ask the fans to make more noise".
Bellingham is still only 20 years of age and yet he continues to stagger fans with his incredible maturity.

He spoke with eloquence in an TV interview with TNT Sports analysing the win.
"It was pretty similar, a couple of us were doing roles that we're not normally used to," Bellingham explained.
"Like me; I was having to go a bit higher to press, so when the ball turned over and I wanted to get on it it was hard to because I was so high. It's the sacrifices to your own game that you have to make."

Bellingham's honest interview stunned Rio Ferdinand, who still can't believe he is still only 20.
The ex Manchester United defender then joked: "If your daughter is going to bring someone home… that’s what you want them to come with."
