Diego Simeone believes Jude Bellingham was lucky to escape a straight red card following his late tackle during the Madrid derby.
Atletico Madrid beat Carlos Ancelotti's Real Madrid 3-1 at the Wanda Metropolitano on Sunday in a convincing victory.
Alvaro Morata opened the scoring in the fourth minute, with Antonie Griezmann doubling his side's advantage in the 18th minute.

Toni Kross reduced the deficit 10 minutes before the break as he scored a stunning strike.
But the hosts regained their two-goal when Morata headed his second goal of the game just after the break.
The visitors couldn't get going and frustration got the better of Bellingham in the dying stages of the game.
He produced a rash tackle on Angel Correa, with the referee branding a yellow card.

Bellingham's challenge on Correa angered the Atletico players as they surrounded the referee, pleading for a harsher punishment.
Simeone also didn't like the England international's tackle as he reckons a red card should have been shown.

Speaking after the La Liga fixture, he said: "Jude Bellingham's challenge looked like a red card when I saw it live.
"For me, Bellingham should have been sent off."
A journalist brought up Jose Gimenez's tackle on Rodrygo, saying: "What about Giménez tackle on Rodrygo?”
To which Simeone replied: "Which one? Ah, yes, that’s a yellow because it's sideways."

Fortunately for Ancelotti, Bellingham only picked up a caution, so he won't miss any games through suspension.
