Barcelona are finally able to register Dani Olmo thanks to a La Liga loophole which they have exploited.
Following on from a stellar Euro 2024 campaign for champions Spain, Olmo signed for Barcelona from RB Leipzig for a reported £51 million.
Olmo, who spent time in Barcelona's academy, signed a six-year contract and took the No.20 shirt.
Yet despite being fit, he was unable to play in Barca's first two games of the season.

Even though they got rid of Vitor Roque, Clement Lenglet and Mikayil Faye, the Blaugrana's dire financial situation prevented them from registering Olmo due to not having sufficient funds for his salary.
Yet there has been a positive update regarding Olmo's situation, with Mundo Deportivo now claiming he will be registered.
The news comes as a result of Andreas Christensen suffering an achilles tendon injury.

The Dane has been plagued by achilles problems and is reportedly set for a two month spell on the sidelines.
Christensen is to undergo a treatment plan which could mean he's out for even longer.
And La Liga have therefore the authorised the registration of Olmo because the injury is considered long-term by the medical committee.
Olmo will be registered provisionally until December 31 and is in line make his competitive debut against Rayo Vallecano on Tuesday night.

Manager Hansi Flick will have been frustrated by not having Olmo in his squad but expressed hope of the issue being resolved in his latest press conference.
"I’m always hopeful, I was also hoping for him for the last game. It would be great to have him for tomorrow’s game," he said on Monday.
"These are things that neither the player nor the team can control. We talked about the situation, we know it is difficult here in Barcelona. I believe in the club and I hope we can register him for tomorrow’s game."
