Xavi Hernandez's side battered Real Betis 5-0 away from home, with Portuguese pair Joao Felix and Joao Cancelo both scoring their first goals for the club.
Robert Lewandowski, Ferran Torres and Raphinha were also on target in the thumping win at the Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys.
But Barcelona's social media team caused mass confusion shortly after the game when the posted the score.

It was of course an error from the Barcelona social media admin, which was then taken down from the account.
