Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba has been left out of the squad to face Freiburg in the Europa League due to disciplinary reasons.
Frenchman Pogba left Manchester United in the summer of 2021 after his second stint with the Old Trafford club ended in disaster.
After leaving Manchester, Pogba decided to return to Juventus on a free transfer, six years after he left Turin for Manchester in a deal worth £89 million.
However, his return to Serie A has not gone well so far as injury has prevented the midfielder from playing for most of the current season.

In addition, he attracted criticism after being spotted on a skiing holiday whilst recovering from his knee injury.
Now, according to GOAL, he will play no part in Thursday night’s Europa League round of 16 tie against Freiburg after arriving late to join up with the rest of the squad.
This will not go down well amongst the Juventus faithful as they have been getting agitated about Pogba’s lack of action and discipline.
Recently, former Juventus defender Marco Tardelli labelled Pogba as a big problem for the club.
He said: “Pogba hasn't played since April 2022, when he was still in Manchester. It's now a problem for Juve, we don't know when he'll return and we don't know what he wants to do.

“Today Pogba is a big problem that the Bianconeri must solve. This situation also demonstrates that Juve do not have clear enough ideas.
“[Massimiliano] Allegri has to take over for me, it's not possible to have a player like that on the payroll. His behaviour towards his teammates isn't fair either, it annoys me.”
So far this season, Pogba has made two appearances, 21 minutes in the 4-2 win over Torino and 14 minutes during the 1-0 defeat by Roma last weekend.
Can Pogba win over the Juventus fans again? Only time will tell.
