Gilberto Silva promised to speak to Arsenal sporting director Edu Gaspar about signing England sensation, Jude Bellingham.
The teenager put in a player-of-the-match performance as England overcame early Senegal pressure to beat the AFCON champions 3-0 and book a place in the World Cup quarter-final.
Bellingham was instrumental to the Three Lions' first two goals, claiming an assist for Jordan Henderson’s opener, and beating the entire Senegal midfield with a balletic run for England’s second.

Naturally, the 19-year-old is being courted by some of the biggest clubs in the world.
Premier League trio Manchester United, Manchester City and Liverpool have all registered an interest, while on the continent Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are both said to be keen on signing the England star.
However, Arsenal legend Silva will ensure the Gunners are also alerted to the Borussia Dortmund star’s talents.
Bellingham to Arsenal?
Silva, who won the Premier League and two FA Cups with Arsenal and played alongside current sporting director Edu, said he would “have a word” with his former teammate over the prospect of signing Bellingham.
After Bellingham’s brilliant round of 16 display, the 46-year-old tweeted a cryptic message, saying: “Jude Bellingham reminds me of someone #ENGvsSEN #WorldCup2022 #WhatAPlayer.”
