Joao Felix assisted all THREE goals in a playmaking masterclass for Atletico Madrid on Monday night as they ran out 3-0 winners in the local derby with Getafe.
Alvaro Morata scored twice after returning to Atleti, while Antoine Griezmann added gloss on the opening weekend victory for Diego Simeone's men.
And Portugal international Felix absolutely ran the show. After looking incredibly sharp in pre-season, Felix set up the opener for Morata with a deft nutmeg into his path just outside the area.

The former Chelsea and Juventus striker provided the low left footed finish 15 minutes into the game. The pair formed a strong understanding on the pitch and the same combination brought the second goal just before the hour mark.

Felix seized possession after an errant pass and slid the ball in for Morata, who supplied another fine finish with his weaker foot to beat the goalkeeper at his near post.
The 22-year-old still had time to register one more assist, this time with a delicate pass for substitute Griezmann after receiving the ball through the lines and turning beautifully.
Felix joined Atleti for a fee of £114 million - the most expensive sum Los Rojiblancos have ever paid for a player - back in 2019 following his 20-goal season.

Although he won La Liga in his next season, Felix has missed 32 games through injury and many feel as though Simeone's brand of football does not suit his talents.
He won the club's Player of the Year last term though and will be looking to finally hit double figures in La Liga this season.
"I always try to do better, if this will be my year, I don’t know, we don’t know the future”, Felix said prior to the campaign, as per Marca.
“I’m sure I’ll grow more and I’m happy, I have a calm head and when that’s the case, things come naturally.

“I’m starting my fourth year and I’m very happy, working to help the team and bring joy to the club and the Atletico fans.”
