Manchester City's blunt statement about Joao Cancelo's departure hints at the potential problems that saw him leave the club.
It's fair to say it came as somewhat of a surprise when it was reported on Monday that Cancelo was on his way to Bayern Munich until the end of the season.
The full-back has been one of Pep Guardiola's most important players in recent years but has been out of the starting line up in recent weeks.

No one would have expected that would lead to him leaving, but reports of a bust up with Pep Guardiola made more sense of the departure.
Other reports have said that the club felt he'd stopped listening in team meetings and his body language around the club had completely changed.
Proof of the 28-year-old's relationship with the club appeared to be confirmed over claims by big fan accounts that the player had blocked them.

The club's official statement on the deal is doing nothing to dispel all the claims either, with it being extremely blunt and to the point.
"Joao Cancelo has joined Bayern Munich on loan until the end of the season," it reads.
"The 28-year-old joined City from Juventus in 2019, following spells in Spain and his native Portugal.
"The Portuguese has now moved to Germany to join the Bundesliga outfit for the remainder of the 2022/23 campaign."

Milhouse's dad can definitely understand how Cancelo feels...
It's not the first time that it's happened recently either, with Everton putting just as much emotion into their farewell comment about Anthony Gordon.
The forward told fans in his own statement to stick with the club but the 21-year-old clearly didn't listen to his own advice, instead heading to Newcastle United.

That move led Simon Jordan to claim that the forward is a 'rat' who will 'get what he deserves,' which felt like particularly harsh words for a player leaving on a transfer.
