Jesse Lingard has been ruthlessly mocked by rival fans and his own after calling Nottingham Forest 'Notts Forest' in a social media video.
The 29-year-old has penned a one-year deal at Forest following his Manchester United release.

He rejected West Ham United to sign for the newly-promoted Premier League team after they offered him a substantial deal, close to £200,000-a-week.
But life at Forest hasn't got off to the perfect start after a video emerged of him calling his new team 'Notts Forest'
'Notts' refers to the county of Nottinghamshire, not the city of Nottingham - and if you refer to the county you refer to their rivals Notts County.

Needless to say, Lingard's Snapchat didn't go down too well with his own fans, with Derby County supporters also taunting Forest's new signing.
One Forest fan tweeted: "Well that's it release him immediately I've seen enough."
A Derby fan wrote: "Arhhh he said 'Notts forest'. Once a ram."
A third added: "Love it! Je$$e gone there for a giggle to wind them up, leave them bankrupt and get them relegated."

Another commented: "He's still a Ram, Notts Forest hahah."
Many believe Lingard has responded to the saga on Twitter.
The England international posed with his number 11 inside the City Ground and joked: "Making myself at home, which name does you prefer?"

On the back of the shirts were 'Lingard' and his 'J-Lingz' nickname, but everyone believes it has a double meaning.
Lingard will have his work cut out to get the Forest fans back on his side before even playing a game for his new side.
The midfielder, who had a loan spell at Derby in the 2014/15 season, is one of many new recruits snapped up by Steve Cooper this summer.

Forest have drafted in the likes of Taiwo Awoniyi, Neco Williams, Harry Toffolo and Dean Henderson, among others.
