British broadcasting icon Jeremy Clarkson has fired a warning to Wrexham's Hollywood owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney following their promotion to League Two next season.
The acting duo purchased the club back in November 2020 and have since taken the Welsh side from strength-to-strength after achieving promotion back into the Football League following a 15-year absence while also securing their first league title in 45 years.
From documentaries capturing their progression to other Hollywood actors such as Paul Rudd chanting with fans in the local pubs, the coverage and following of the team has skyrocketed since the takeover and we could be set to witness a similar story with former Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson.
Clarkson, 63, sponsored his local team Chadlington FC in November 2021 with the club sporting the current logo from his most recent show - Clarkson's Farm on Amazon Prime - on their shirts.

Speaking on the sponsorship of the team during one of the episodes where Chaldington featured, Clarkson said: “If I was going to win over the village, I would need a much grander gesture. So I thought of one. Diddly Squat sponsors of Chadlington Football Club.”
The team currently operate in the Witney & District League but Clarkson is now aiming to replicate the successes of Reynolds and McElhenney, after taking to his person Twitter account to issue the following warning. He said: "OK Wrexham. @ChadlingtonFC is coming for you."
Clarkson is an avid Chelsea supporter and is regularly seen attending games at Stamford Bridge but will be hoping his investment within the non-league outfit can have a more positive impact than Todd Boehly's on the Blues, as they find themselves dwelling in the bottom half of the Premier League table after splashing £600 million on new signings.
