Arsenal legend Paul Merson has recently suggested West Ham star Jarrod Bowen would be a great fit for Liverpool.
Bowen, a player who moved from Hull City to West Ham in 2020 is coming off the back of a tremendous season. The winger has registered 18 goals and 13 assists in 51 games for The Hammers since August 2021, attracting potential top 6 suitors in the process.
Keeping the newly capped England man will be vital for David Moyes this summer, with some of England’s biggest clubs circling round the East-end star already this window.

As stated, Merson believes Bowen has what it takes to make it at Liverpool, with the ex-Arsenal star saying “he reminds me of a forward version of James Milner – reliable, honest and works his socks off,”.
With Sadio Mane’s departure looking more likely by the day, it is vital that the Reds bring in some attacking reinforcement this summer. Although Darwin Nunez looks to be on his way to Anfield already, Liverpool will more than likely be looking to bring in a winger also.

Bowen’s simultaneous ability to drive the ball forward and work back for the team is something that will surely attract Klopp, with the German known for his hard-working ‘heavy metal football’ approach.
It’s too early to tell whether a deal for Bowen will materialise for the Reds this summer, but what we do know is that if Bowen does make that move to Anfield, he would surely become a firm favourite of the fans, with his work-rate being one of the best in the league.
