Jadon Sancho made sure that Aston Villa star Leon Bailey knew who'd won, after Manchester United picked up three points in the race for the Champions League.
It had been a very up and down week for United, after they had secured their place in the FA Cup final, with a penalty shoot-out win over Brighton last Sunday.
That was followed by throwing away two points against Tottenham Hotspur, after taking a 2-0 lead through Sancho and Marcus Rashford, only to draw.

Off the pitch there was movement with the potential sale by the Glazers and then protests against the Americans by fans, ahead of kick off against Villa.
Villa were a very live threat to United's hopes of finishing in the top four, with the Midlands side on an absolute charge in 2023 thanks to Unai Emery.
They themselves have ambitions of being in Europe next season, and weren't expected to make things easy for the hosts at Old Trafford.

Indeed Sancho showed his frustration in the first half, telling captain Bruno Fernandes to stop moaning, no doubt to the delight of rival fans.
However, he would have been less annoyed with the attacking midfielder, when the Portugal star scored the only goal of the game, giving the wide forward the perfect chance to tease Bailey.
Sancho had posted about getting a win on Instagram ahead of the game, only for the Villa player to respond, and following full time, the England international gave his mate the old side eyes.

The pair will know each other from their time in Germany, when Sancho starred for Borussia Dortmund and Bailey did likewise for Bayer Leverkusen.
Bailey actually kicked off the Emery era against Erik ten Hag's side, when he scored after just seven minutes of the former PSG boss' first game in charge at Villa Park.
The hosts that day went on to win 3-1, with Lucas Digne and Jacob Ramsey also scoring, with Ramsey also putting into his own net.
Since then Villa have been one of the best teams in England's top tier, and they remain in seventh place in the league, with just four games remaining.

United's win makes the Champions League a real likelihood, as they're now seven points clear of fifth place Liverpool, with a game in hand.
