Jadon Sancho has not had the impact he would have hoped for since signing for Manchester United in the summer of 2021.
Sancho's future may lie elsewhere, as his performances have not lived up to the hype that was expected, and having failed to nail down a place in the starting XI.
Sports publication TEAMtalk have been told that one of his three former clubs are leading the race to sign the 23-year-old and get him out of Old Trafford.

Jadon Sancho was a £73m signing from Borussia Dortmund in 2021 following a transfer saga that lasted two years, and it was expected that he would set the world alight, which he has been far from doing.
The skilful winger accumulated an outstanding 76 goals and assists over his last two seasons at Dortmund, while his first two seasons at United have only returned 18 goal contributions - showing that he has not reached anywhere near the level he previously displayed.
Electrifying youngster Alejandro Garnacho is quickly making a case for himself to be in the starting XI and Marcus Rashford is expected to return to the wings once a number nine is signed, which could spell the end of Sancho's time in Manchester.

The England international counts Watford, Manchester City and Borussia Dortmund among his previous clubs.
According to German outfit BILD, a return to Dortmund, the club where he spent four years and his entire senior career at before United, should not be dismissed.
They have claimed that Dortmund's sporting director, Sebastian Kehl, is in 'constant' contact with Sancho's agency.

It is understood that the Bundesliga outfit are a genuine contender to re-sign the winger and are currently leading the chase for his signature.
Furthermore, it is known that Sancho's future at Old Trafford is not as certain as it once was, as his consistently poor form has become increasingly obvious to those at the club.
Despite showing glimpses of excellence at United, it is nowhere near enough considering the price tag that United paid for him, and with Garnacho seeming to make more of an impact on the team, Sancho might be sold to generate funds for the upcoming transfer window.
If Manchester United were to cut their losses and offload Sancho this summer, it looks like Dortmund will be the first club to swoop in and bring their old starboy home.
