Bayern Munich have stepped up their pursuit of Harry Kane, who is also a target for Manchester United, according to a fresh report.
The Telegraph claimed last week that Erik ten Hag is considering whether to make a move for Tottenham’s Kane. The Old Trafford club's priority has been to sign a high-profile striker ever since the acrimonious departure of Cristiano Ronaldo in November.
The United boss reportedly recognises that the 29-year-old, who would cost some £100million, offers a unique skill set and can create as well as score.

While Spurs are still hoping Kane will sign a new contract with the club, with his current deal expiring in 2024, the striker has also attracted admirers on the continent.
Bayern, who are still looking for a replacement for Robert Lewandowski, have been linked with Kane for months.
Indeed reports in Germany claim the Bavarian giants have stepped up their attempts to sign the England captain.
Kane to Bayern Munich?
A Bild report claims Kane remains a target for Bayern, who have been reliant on former Stoke City striker Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting for much of the season.

The German publication claims that in-depth analysis has shown Kane would suit their team more than any striker in the world.
Though the analysis employed by the Bundesliga leaders was not specified, Kane’s goalscoring numbers are consistently exceptional.
The 29-year-old has netted at least 17 Premier League goals in each of his last nine seasons.
Indeed, this term he is second in the scoring charts, though nine strikes behind Manchester City’s Erling Haaland, who has scored 26 league goals already.

Should Kane sign for Bayern or opt to stay at Spurs, United are reportedly considering signing Napoli’s Victor Osimhen.
The Nigeria international has been integral as Luciano Spalletti’s side look to claim their first Serie A title in 33 years.
