Achraf Hakimi says he will talk to Lionel Messi and Neymar over free-kick duties at Paris Saint-Germain after scoring yet another set piece at AFCON.
Hakimi scored a sensational winner for Morocco against Malawi on Wednesday to send his team through to the next round of the tournament.
It's his second free-kick of AFCON having bagged a stunning goal against Gabon in the group stage round.
Speaking to reporters after the final whistle, the right-back was asked whether he'd assume free-kick responsibilities at club level.
As it stands, Messi and Neymar take PSG's free-kicks - and Hakimi admits it'll be difficult to get them off it, but intends to speak to his esteemed teammates.
"It’ll be difficult," said the player via Get French Football News after Morocco's 2-1 win over Malawi. "But I will try to speak with Leo or Neymar."
He could be backed by Kylian Mbappe who called the former Real Madrid and Inter Milan man the best right-back in the world.
The France forward tweeted: "ACHRAF HAKIMI. BEST RB IN THE WORLD. GOOD NIGHT GUYS."
Hakimi, still only 23, has already plied his trade for some of the biggest clubs as he enhances his reputation at PSG.
This season, he's played 25 games in all competitions, scoring three goals.
Hakimi and Co, meanwhile, will return to action on Sunday to face the winner of Ivory Coast vs. Egypt.
Will he guide his side to international glory? Let us know what you think.
