Gerard Pique appeared to be booed at an awards ceremony, as the fallout from the former Barcelona star's breakup with Shakira continues.
The two famous stars of their chosen fields have been going through the most public of breakups in the past few months, which was confirmed last summer.
As if ending a relationship after 11 years wasn't difficult enough, seeing it all unfold via viral songs and petty social media posts makes it all the tougher. Admittedly the latter one isn't unfamiliar for many, but not usually to well over 100 million followers combined.

He took the lyrics in his ex's song very seriously, turning up to one of his events whilst driving a Twingo, the car she referenced his new girlfriend as.

It will hurt the former Manchester United defender's ego to know that Barcelona are not exactly suffering since he decided to hang up his boots.
The Nou Camp side have only conceded seven times in La Liga in their entire campaign so far and currently lead the title race.
That hasn't stopped them looking like fools when it comes to transfers though, and they managed to miss out on a deadline day deal by 18 seconds!
