Match of the Day went ahead on Saturday WITHOUT Gary Lineker and pundits.
The programme was thrown into turmoil when it was announced on Friday that regular host Lineker would not be presenting the show due to a dispute with the BBC over his social media use.
BBC presenters, pundits and commentators have stepped down from featuring in the programme in solidarity with the 62-year-old.
As the BBC does not have the rights to use world feed commentary to replace those who have pulled out, the show was reduced to just 20 minutes.
