A list of players with the highest potential on FIFA 16 career mode has been doing the rounds on social media, eight years after EA Sports' much-anticipated release.
TikTok user NostalgicFifa picked out the best 25 wonderkids on FIFA 16, with Alen Halilovic, John Stones and Breel Embolo featuring early on.
But we've picked out the top 10 as Aston Villa midfielder Youri Tielemans features alongside Paulo Dybala, Raheem Sterling and Luke Shaw. So who else makes the list?

Julian Brandt - Bayer Leverkusen. Value - €7,000,000 [88 potential]
The attacking midfielder, who made over 150 appearances for Bayer Leverkusen, joined Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2019 for a reported £22 million. He has also made 47 appearances for Germany.
Niklas Sule - Hoffenheim. Value - €10,500,000 [88 potential]
Sule made over 100 appearances for Hoffenheim before signing a deal with Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich in 2017. He would spend five years in Munich before joining Borussia Dortmund in 2022. The 28-year-old also has 49 caps to his name for Germany.
Maximilian Meyer - Schalke 04. Value - €12,500,000 [88 potential]

The midfielder, 28, cemented himself as one of Schalke's top stars before joining Premier League side Crystal Palace on a free transfer in 2018. He would struggle for first-team minutes at Selhurst Park and left in 2021. He currently plays for Swiss Super League outfit FC Luzern after spells at FC Koln and Fenerbahce.
Daniele Rugani - Juventus. Value - €12,000,000 [88 potential]
Rugani is still at Juventus, seven years after EA Sports decided to hand the defender a potential rating of 88. The 29-year-old has enjoyed loan spells at Empoli, Rennes and Cagliari during his time at the Turin club. He has also made seven appearances for Italy.
Paulo Dybala - Juventus. Value - €14,000,000 [88 potential]

The well-known forward scored 115 goals in 293 appearances for Juventus during his seven-year stay at the Serie A side. After becoming a fan favourite in Turin, he joined Jose Mourinho's AS Roma in 2022 and remains a key player at the Stadio Olimpico. He recently lifted the World Cup with Argentina.
Luke Shaw - Manchester United. Value - €10,500,000 [88 potential]
Shaw, who joined Manchester United from Southampton in 2014 for £30 million, has made over 200 appearances for the Reds. He also has 31 caps for England and memorably scored the opener in their European Championship final defeat to Italy.

Raheem Sterling - Manchester City. Value - €27,000,000 [88 potential]
The pacey forward was the most expensive player in this list, and for good reason. Sterling went on to score 131 goals in 339 games for Manchester City before joining Chelsea in a deal worth £47.5 million. He has made 82 appearances for England since making his debut in 2012.
Paco Alcacer - Valencia. Value - €21,500,000 [88 potential]
After coming through the ranks at Valencia, the Spanish forward was handed a potential rating of 88. He has gone on to play for Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund and Villarreal. The 30-year-old is currently on a season-long loan at UAE Pro League side Emirates from Sharjah.

Memphis Depay - Manchester United. Value - €25,000,000 [89 potential]
Expectation was high when Depay made the £25 million switch from PSV to Manchester United in 2015 but he struggled to find his feet at Old Trafford and made just 33 appearances for the club. He currently plays for Atletico Madrid after spells at Lyon and Barcelona.
Youri Tielemans - Anderlecht. Value - €10,000,000 [90 potential]
Tielemans was handed the highest potential rating on FIFA 16 after impressing at Belgian side Anderlecht throughout his teenage years. He would join Ligue 1 side Monaco in 2017 before joining Leicester City for a reported £32 million deal. The 26-year-old is enjoying life at Aston Villa in 2024.
