History will be made in EA Sports FC 24 as the smallest player in Ultimate Team will be featured.
After releasing the official cover for the Ultimate Edition of the game, featuring a total of 31 stars from past and present, EA then dropped a trailer to give fans a glimpse of what to expect.
There's plenty of excitement and curiosity for the upcoming game as it is the first under the name, following on from the termination of a 30-year partnership with FIFA.
However, rest assured official licences for teams, clubs and players still remain and so do popular modes like Career Mode and Ultimate Team.

The brief video shared online would appear to indicate that female players will be playable in Ultimate Team and so gamers can field a mixed starting XI.
And thus it's emerged that there will be a new smallest player in UT as Davina Philtjens comes in at 4ft 11. Until now, there had never been a player under 5 ft in the mode.
Philtjens, who plays as a left-back, plies her trade with Serie A side Sassuolo and also represents Belgium internationally.

The former Standard Liege, Ajax and Fiorentina player is a veteran of the game at 34 but has been named in her country's squad for the upcoming World Cup in Australia.
In FIFA 23, her overall rating was 75 and it will interesting to see what score she is given this time around.
The early indications from EA FC, however, are that there isn't quite a grasp of height as in the trailer Christian Benteke appeared to be the same size as Lorenzo Insigne.
That's despite the former Aston Villa and Crystal Palace man being 6ft 3 and Insigne being around a foot smaller.

Benteke even took matters into his own hands by "fixing" it by uploading a screenshot where he was much taller.
