Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus struggled to understand the antics of Everton centre-back and former teammate Yerry Mina during their pre-season friendly in the U.S.
Mikel Arteta's side recorded a comfortable 2-0 win against the Toffees on July 17, as goals from Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Jesus secured another pre-season victory ahead of their Premier League opener next month.

The Brazilian forward, who signed for the Gunners from Manchester City this summer for a reported £45 million, impressed against Premier League opposition at the M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore.
But the 25-year-old ended up talking about his clash with Everton defender Yerry Mina.
Mina did not shy away from confronting his former Palmeiras teammate throughout the pre-season friendly. In fact, the Colombian was told to calm down by teammate Jordan Pickford following one particular incident.
When asked about the treatment he received from Mina, the Brazilian forward said he was surprised by his actions.

"You know what, I have played with Mina before in Palmeiras," Jesus told TNT Sports. ‘We were so close to each other.
"Then, after, I don’t know why he started to attack me to do something like this on my chest and then talking s**t. I don’t know why."
Jesus added: "I don’t know the reason for him to do this. At the end I am not a kid anymore. I went straight to him as well after we won the game."
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has been delighted with Jesus' overall impact since joining from Manchester City.

After the friendly against Everton, the Spaniard said: "He [Jesus] creates chaos, he creates uncertainty and he's always on your shoulder. He’s always there to nick the ball off you, he’s always in front of the goal.
"He’s a real threat and this is what we need. The moment we give the ball away he is straight away active and putting pressure and getting his team behind him.
"He has a lot of leadership skills, I can see straight away what he’s doing with the boys and he’s the type of guy that we want."
