Wrexham are closing in on the signing of a former Manchester United player, it has been reported.
The Red Dragons have suffered from several injury and disciplinary issues in recent weeks.
Strikers Jack Marriott and Steven Fletcher missed Tuesday's 0-0 draw against Huddersfield through injury, while midfielder George Evans has a long-term injury.

George Dobson and Andy Cannon are also close to suspension through accumulating yellow cards.
Now, it is claimed that Wrexham are set to announce the signing of former Manchester United and Leicester midfielder Matty James on a contract until January.
James, 33, is out of contract having left Bristol City in the summer.

Wrexham podcast RobRyanRed claim that a number of Championship clubs have shown interest in the central midfielder, who came through the youth system at Manchester United.
He had two successful spells on loan at Preston North End - who were managed by Sir Alex Ferguson's son Darren at the time - before signing for Leicester, then of the Championship, permanently in 2012.
He spent nine years with the Foxes but missed their entire Premier League-winning season through injury after suffering a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL).

James did get to lift the trophy and was part of Leicester's celebrations, but said he 'felt I didn't deserve to be there'.
Altogether, the midfielder spent over two years out of action, and while he has endured occasional injury issues since then, made over 30 Championship appearances in each of his three seasons at Bristol City before being released.
Elsewhere, Wrexham have also been linked with a move to sign free agent striker Martyn Waghorn.
The 34-year-old spent last season on loan at Derby, where he scored seven goals in 24 appearances in League One.

Waghorn worked with Wrexham boss Phil Parkinson during a loan spell at Charlton in 2008.
