Wrexham may have been described "semi-professional footballers last season" by a Shrewsbury Town player but Phil Parkinson's squad has been expensively assembled.
The remark from Tom Flanagan in an interview with BBC Radio Shropshire proved to be the perfect motivation for Wrexham's FA Cup town side with the League One outfit.
They beat the team from the division above 1-0 thanks to a winner from Tom O'Connor in the second half.
Afterwards, midfielder Elliot Lee dedicated the win to Flanagan, telling S4C's Sgorio: "It was a great performance and I'd like to dedicate that to one of their players, Tom Flanagan, who said that we were full of semi-pro players last year. So that one's for you, mate."

But while Wrexham were playing Non-League football last term, winning the National League, they had a plethora of players who had experience playing in divisions above and on Football League wages.
And with a couple of new additions in the summer, they've proved their worth in League Two and currently sit third, just two points off leaders Stockport County.
But their points tally of 49 come as no surprise given the quality they possess.

According to Transfer Markt, Wrexham's squad is worth a whopping £6 million with all the market values of players added together.
The figures are based off what the website believe the players are worth, as opposed to what Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney's Wrexham paid.
Arsenal loanee Arthur Okonkwo makes up a good chunk of the overall sum, having signed following Ben Foster's decision to retire from football for good.
