But once the couple began their relationship 13 years ago, there was one strict rule that the pair each promised to follow.
Speaking to Elle earlier this year, Lively explained: “When Ryan and I got together, we made a rule not to work at the same time.
“So that we could always prioritize our personal life.”

“That takes working really hard when we're not. Just like financial planning and sustaining that; it takes balance.
“I'm used to working hard and going and going and going and going and not stopping,” Lively reflected.
“Especially, Gossip Girl was six years of my life, and we were sometimes shooting three episodes at once.”
In another interview, the actress explained that a key priority for the couple is ensuring that at least one of them is always home to help support their children James,Inez, Betty, Olin.

“Ryan had a nice, normal upbringing, and we want our kids to have the same normal life that we had,” Lively told Marie Claire in 2016.
“We don't ever want to rob them of what we had because then we'd feel really selfish.”
Lively has been fiercely supportive of Reynolds since he and business partner Rob McElhenney took over Welsh side Wrexham in February 2021.

Posting on her Instagram story, about Wrexham, she said: "Most of our babies I have. This (Wrexham) is the one baby of ours that my husband had along with his baby daddy Rob McElhenney.
"I love these teams. I love this town. I love this family at Wrexham (women and men's sides). Thank you for letting us be a part of your lives."
