Wayne Rooney had the Girth N Turf Pro Clubs team in stitches after what he said to one of its founders, Angry Ginge.
Angry Ginge (real name Morgan Burtwistle) and Yung Filly’s (real name Andres Felipe Barrientos) Girth N Turf team are trying to climb the Pro Clubs ladder, and they have had the help of a few big names along the way.
Several YouTubers, including Behzinga (Ethan Payne), have taken part, while teenage darts sensation Luke Littler has also been involved.

But on Sunday Angry Ginge and Yung Filly welcomed the most famous recruit yet - Manchester United and England icon Rooney.
However, the most notable aspect of Rooney’s involvement wasn't his EA FC ability, but his foul-mouthed response to Angry Ginge towards the end of the stream.
Rooney said: “If you want us back I'll be back," only for Angry Ginge to cheekily respond: "You can come back tomorrow, mate. Don't be s*** again."

Rooney hit back: "Ah, you ginger c***!"
The response prompted laughter from Angry Ginge and his Girth N Turf colleagues, while several people on X, formally Twitter, were quick to comment.
One person said: “Wayne Rooney calling Angry Ginge a “ginger c***” was not on our 2024 bingo card.”
A second added: “They had Wayne in defence. The disrespect.”

A third wrote, alongside a laughing emoji: “That’s why he’s the goat man.”
Rooney is currently out of work having been sacked as Birmingham manager in January. He was due to appear on Match of the Day on Saturday night, only to withdraw from the show with a back injury.
Despite his so far tumultuous spells as manager with Birmingham, Derby County and DC United, the United record scorer has said he aspires to one day take charge of the Old Trafford club or Everton.

"Managing Manchester United or Everton is the aim, these big jobs are where you want to get to," Rooney said on Match of the Day in February, where he was working as an analyst for United's FA Cup game against Nottingham Forest.
"But it's a process I have got to go through the steps and get myself back on track. I want to get myself back into management to make sure in the next 10 years I'm hopefully in a position to go into one of the big jobs."

He continued: "I definitely want to get back into management. It was a setback what happened at Birmingham but I'm a fighter and I want to get back into it,
"You know as a manager [being sacked] is part of the job and you will have setbacks. It's about how you bounce back.
"I've had some good time to reflect and will make sure I get it right next time."
