Spurs have another agreement with Bayern Munich after signing both Harry Kane and Eric Dier in recent times.
Dier has been reunited with Kane in Bavaria and was named on the bench against Werder Bremen on Sunday after penning a deal until the end of the season.
Bayern have signed him to provide extra cover in central defence and will have the option to extend his stay by another year.
Dier's switch follows the £82 million signing of England skipper Kane, who finally left Spurs in the summer in pursuit of major trophies.

Kane has scored 26 goals in 23 games in all competitions for Thomas Tuchel's side.
A further six goal involvements will see him collect a huge £218,000 bonus in his contract, while Daniel Levy claims there is a buy-back option for Spurs should Kane want to add to his Premier League goals tally in the future.
However, another interesting detail agreed on when Kane put pen to paper was for two friendlies between the two sides.

German journalist Maximilian Koch claims that this clause was included in order to keep the guaranteed transfer fee below the guaranteed €100 million.
According to The Sun, the first meeting is slated to take place in London at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the second week of August.
Spurs will take all the proceeds from the fixture but there is no word on when the second encounter will take place.

Bayern have hosted Spurs in pre-season before as back in 2019 the North London outfit took part in the annual Audi Cup.
Spurs went all the way in the competition, beating Bayern on penalties at the Allianz Arena after a 2-2 draw in the tournament's final.
Dier did not feature but Kane came off the bench in the triumph, which was the only bit of silverware the duo won at Spurs.
