Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou was reportedly left furious by a joke from one of his own staff members after his side lost 2-0 to Manchester City on Tuesday.
Spurs' defeat means they can no longer qualify for next season's Champions League, with fourth-placed Aston Villa four points clear ahead of the final day of the season.
City's victory, meanwhile, takes them two points clear of Arsenal at the top of the table as they pursue their fourth consecutive Premier League title.

Some Spurs fans were not overly disappointed with the defeat given it impacted on the title chances of their fierce rivals, but Postecoglou clearly wasn't impressed with that mentality after the game.
In his post-match interview, the Australian said: "The foundations are really fragile. The last 48 hours have shown me that. It's inside the club, outside the club. Outside, inside, everywhere.
"They're [the fans] allowed to express themselves any way they want. But yeah, when we've got late winners in games it's because the crowd's helped us.

"I just want to win ... so what other people, how they want to feel, and what their priorities are, are of zero interest to me."
Now, it has been claimed that Postecoglou was privately left furious after a joke from one of his staff members.
According to The Athletic's Jack Pitt-Brooke, a minority of staff members had made jokes about the game - and Arsenal's prospects of winning the Premier League title - in the build-up.
It is said, however, that one member of the support staff left Postecoglou 'furious' after joking to him that he should play a youth team against City.

The joke reportedly 'lit a fuse' in the manager, as 'the notion of being happy to lose a game had shocked him' - and this no doubt played a role in his post-match interview.
