Thierry Henry has revealed what Panama hero Cecilio Waterman said to him after celebrating his winning goal vs the United States on Thursday night.
Panama met Mauricio Pochettino's side in a huge CONCACAF Nations League semi-final clash at the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, with a place in the final against Mexico up for grabs.
It looked like the game was heading towards a stalemate but then in the 94th minute, Waterman popped up with a dramatic winner to spark chaotic scenes for Panama and knock out the reigning holders.

Substitute Waterman picked up the ball on the right and lashed in a low drive past Matt Turner before wheeling away in celebration.
The CBS Sports panel were stationed right near where Waterman was heading and he immediately made a beeline for Arsenal and Barcelona legend Henry.
Waterman jumped over barrier and onto the platform where their makeshift studio was, embracing a stunned and confused Henry.

He was soon joined by a number of his teammates and after his initial disbelief, Henry went with it as host Kate Scott was left in hysterics.

The moment made for some incredible social media content with the close-up angle and comedy acting legend Terry Crews was on hand with his phone to get the clip.
Waterman picked up the CBS Sports microphone and said something which wasn't quite audible but then shortly after the game, Henry confirmed what the 33-year-old said in a brilliant exchange.

After describing the moment as "outstanding", Henry revealed, "He said to me, 'eres me idolo' (you're my idol) and I didn't know what to do!".
Incredibly, former Fulham, Spurs and USA star Clint Dempsey watched on metres away as Panama celebrated wildly with Henry - clearly not enjoying the scenes after seeing his country suffer defeat in the dying embers.
It was a second victory over the US in nine months and explaining his celebration further, Waterman said: "Last night, they asked me who my childhood idol was, and I said Thierry Henry… I scored, saw you, and knew I had to come say hi."

Panama look to go a step further against Mexico in the final, while Pochettino's men will take on Canada in a third place play-off.
