Fans left in stitches after seeing what Speed did in front of Thierry Henry during charity football match

Speed has been participating in the 2025 Match for Hope alongside the likes of Thierry Henry and KSI.

Fans were left in stitches after seeing what iShowSpeed did during a charity football match - with Thierry Henry watching on.

Speed was one of the social media stars invited to play in the 2025 Match for Hope, which was hosted in Qatar.

According to the event's official website, a total of $8.8 million has been raised for charity, with 22.5 million viewers tuning in for the match.

KSI and AboFlah captained one team, while Speed and Chunkz captained the other.

The likes of Miniminter, Behzinga, Manny Brown and AngryGinge also taking part.

Each team also contained a number of footballing icons, with Henry, Andrea Pirlo and Andres Iniesta among the legendary players involved.

KSI scored a horror own goal in the first half after accidentally diverting in a Speed cross.

But his team would eventually win the game 6-5 after a late goal from social media star Adam Waheed.

Fans, though, picked up on one hilarious moment involving Speed - and it was perhaps a callback to one of his previous charity games.

With the score at 0-0 in the second minute and with his team building up around the edge of the box, Speed was spotted waiting for the ball in the penalty area - while standing around 10 yards offside.

Henry was seen in discussion with the Twitch star - real name Darren Watkins - before the game, but this probably wasn't what he had in mind with any advice he may have given him as he watched on.

Speed was thankfully able to take part in the match after recovering from his participation in the WWE Royal Rumble event earlier this month.

He was entered in at number eight in the men's Royal Rumble match, but was obliterated by a Spear from current Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker.

His tweet after the event, which showed the Twitch star in a neck brace and with crutches, received over one million likes - making it the most liked WWE-related tweet of all-time, it was reported.

WWE chief content officer Paul 'Triple H' Levesque confirmed in his post-show press conference that the company was planning to invite Speed back to the company at a later date.

He said: "He loves the business, and he loves being around it. He's great for it.

"I know he wants to do some more things down the line, and we'd be happy to have him here."
