The face of Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma was left a mess after a horrific collision with AS Monaco's Wilfried Singo on Wednesday evening.
The Italy captain was forced off after being booted square in the face by right-back Singo inside the penalty area following a shot on goal from the right.
Donnarumma came out bravely to smother his opponent but Singo caught him with his studs and left the 25-year-old dazed and bloody.

The incident was checked by VAR and although Singo was already on a yellow card, no further action was taken and he avoided a sending off, with the challenge appearing to have been deemed accidental.
However, Donnarumma could not continue and was replaced by second-choice goalkeeper Matvei Safanov after just 20 minutes. The former AC Milan shotstopper was then pictured by RMC Journalist Arthur Perrot and had a series of nasty, bloody cuts on his face from the studs which required a number of stitches.

PSG are currently winning 3-2 away from home at the Stade Louis II. Desire Doue put Luis Enrique's side 1-0 up in the 24th minute but the hosts led 2-1 early in the second half thanks to strikes from Eliesse Ben Seghir and Breel Embolo.
Ousmane Dembele levelled matters in the 64th minute before Goncalo Ramos put PSG back in the lead. Dembele then secured a brace and wrapped up the win in the 97th minute, making it 4-2.
Although they have been struggling in the Champions League this season and are currently 25th in the table on seven points, PSG are already 10 points clear at the top of Ligue One after 16 games.
But they will be hoping their first-choice goalkeeper is fit to play in the French cup clash with Lens on Sunday.
