Stal Mielec midfielder Alvis Jaunzems may have pulled off one of the all-time great assists in their Ekstraklasa clash against Pogon Szczecin.
It was an afternoon to remember for Polish top tier side Stal Mielec, who came from 2-1 behind to claim all three points after a memorable hat-trick from Ilya Shkurin.
Mielec overcame the odds to beat Jens Gustafsso's men at the 15,500-capacity Stadion Miejski.

But it was 24-year-old Latvia international Alvis Jaunzems who grabbed the headlines after he assisted Shkurin with the most audacious of flicks.
As you can see from the footage below, Stal Mielec full-back Krystian Getinger whipped in a delicious ball from the left hand side and Jaunzems cushioned the ball into Shkurin's path with a deft touch.
Since it was posted to Ekstraklasa's official TikTok page, the piece of skill has received over 5.5 million views at the time of writing, with thousands commenting on Jaunzems' outrageous assist.

One fan said: "This actually might be the best assist of all time," while another wrote: "People don’t realize how hard that is, I can’t even describe how good it is."
A third commented: "Is there a Puskas Award equivalent for assists? If so, this deserves a nomination."
A fourth said: "This for real might be the best assist of all time, only other one I can think of to argue is the Guti backheel," and a fifth added: "That first shot of this assist should be put up in a art gallery."
