The sister-in-law of a Nottingham Forest player has been jailed after leaking the star's sex tape.
Hwang Ui-jo's sister-in-law was given a three-year sentence by the Seoul Central District Court after admitting charges of leaking the sex tape and blackmailing the Premier League player.
She was detained in December 2023.

The court acknowledged the defendant’s "severe" crime of blackmailing the footballer, 31, while knowing that the private videos would disseminate and go viral.
"The court cannot see that the defendant is seriously reflecting on her crimes as she has denied them for a long time and disrupted the investigation by doing things like resetting her phone," the court said.
The defendant was accused of posting photos and videos of Hwang engaging in sexual activity with multiple women on Instagram last year, while claiming to be his ex-girlfriend.

She was also accused of blackmailing Hwang with messages like: "it will be fun if the video gets leaked."
After repeatedly denying the allegations, the player's sister-in-law confessed to the court through a handwritten apology on February 20, in which he said she wanted to "teach him a lesson" by leaking the videos.
She claimed she found a video of Hwang and an unknown woman on his phone, which she had access to as she helped to manage his work and personal life.
"The only intention was to teach Hwang a lesson," she said.

"I edited the video so the woman’s face would not be exposed. I never thought of ruining Hwang’s career or harming the woman."
Prosecutors had sought a four-year sentence, but the term was reduced after the defendant made a late confession and because of her clear criminal record.
Hwang - who joined Nottingham Forest in 2022 but is currently on loan at Turkish side Alanyaspor - submitted a letter to waive the penalty against his sister-in-law.

The female victim who appeared in the sex tape alongside Hwang pushed for a heavy sentence.
Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency accused Hwang of illegally filming his sexual encounters and inflicting secondary harm.
While the player admitted he filmed the videos, he claimed he did so with the consent of the women involved.
Hwang has not made an appearance for Forest since joining the club, and has spent time on loan at Olympiacos, FC Seoul, Norwich City and Alanyaspor.
